Fast Forward was hired to remove two chillers from the existing cooling tower at Los Angeles City College’s Central Plant.
Start Date: 2019
Finish Date: 2021
Fast Forward sawcut existing mechanical chillers into small enough sections in order to remove them out of the building using forklifts, scissor lifts, bobcats and cutting torches.
After successfully removing the chillers, Fast Forward broke and removed the existing slab then excavated the dirt for the new chillers.
We removed roll up doors, roof units and steel support beams for the old roof units because new chillers would have a different roof unit configuration.
