Concrete Cutting Scope
The scope involved modifying existing CMU elevator shaft walls to create designated door access openings at multiple parking levels, along with core drilling for wireway troughing and motor lead wire conduit pathways.
Wall Sawing & CMU Removal
Our crews performed wall sawing through CMU walls up to 8 inches thick, followed by controlled breaking, removal and disposal of the cut CMU, concrete and mortar debris.
Parking Ground Level
• 42 LF of wall sawing
• 54 SF of CMU breaking and removal
Parking Levels 2, 3, 4 & 5 – Each Level
• 42 LF of wall sawing
• 26 SF of CMU breaking and removal per level
Across all five parking levels, Fast Forward completed approximately 210 linear feet of CMU wall sawing and 158 square feet of CMU breaking and removal.
Core Drilling
Fast Forward also completed 6 core-drilled openings through 8-inch CMU walls for wireway troughing and motor lead wire conduit pathways serving the elevator systems.
