Fast Forward was called in by a general contractor for a project to convert an abandoned building at the VA facility into Veteran’s Housing.
The project was focused on two buildings of three stories and a basement.
Start Date: April 2021
Finish Date: January 2022
We were brought in for our expertise in coring, which we did for the new plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, coring over 3,000 holes, with round holes for electrical and plumbing and square holes for the HVAC system. As construction continued, additional coring and removing was identified and our work grew.
- Coring machine
- Electric hand saw
- Electric chipping gun by hand
This project had a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) requiring that we use local hires who were veterans as apprentices along with our team. We are proud to say one of those apprentices has been permanently hired by Fast Forward Concrete Cutting.
“I have worked with Fast Forward for many years and on numerous projects. They come from a high level of professionalism from the office to the field. Their field workers come to the site prepared, ready to work and the work gets completed as agreed.”
